EMEA Implementation Developer

The EMEA Implementation Developer is a high-impact hybrid role responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Lockbox LIMS – our Salesforce-based laboratory information management system. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis and technical engineering. You will act as the functional owner of specific client features, the builder of the core UI/logic, and the developer of complex programmatic solutions. Your mission is to ensure that Lockbox LIMS is not only technically sound but perfectly aligned with the complex, regulated workflows of modern laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with stakeholders to determine, write, and obtain client approval for detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Lead functional testing and conduct live demos to solicit feedback and ensure high user adoption.
  • Configure Lockbox LIMS and Salesforce functionality, including Protocols, CSV import templates, permission sets, validation rules, sharing rules, formulas, and reporting.
  • Design and build Salesforce Flows.
  • Develop custom Apex, Visualforce (VF), and Lightning Web Components (LWC) when out-of-the-box configuration reaches its limit.
  • Deliver tested solutions that meet the approved Acceptance Criteria.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to communicate progress and escalate risks.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Salesforce Technical Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce Flow, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Workflow Analysis and Documentation: Strong capability in capturing, analyzing, and documenting complex lab and business workflows. This includes documenting at both a high-level and task-level detail using long-form text and diagrams for effective requirement management and workflow design.
  • Communication and Facilitation: Excellent listening, communication, and client-facing skills, with a proven ability to effectively facilitate discussions and explain technical concepts to non-technical lab stakeholders.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in laboratory, healthcare, life sciences, biotech, or similar environments.
  • Language: Written and spoken English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Lockbox LIMS or similar lab information management system platforms.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, Platform App Builder, Developer, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Java, C#, HTML, CSS, or other similar languages.
  • Familiarity with laboratory and related regulatory frameworks (e.g., CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Experience working in a hybrid agile/waterfall environment.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages.
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration, particularly with teams in the US, Europe, Israel, and/or Southeast Asia.

Work Requirements

  • Availability: Client meetings may be scheduled between 8 AM and 7 PM Central European Time (CET), Monday through Friday. Contractor should be generally available for client meetings in both morning and evening time blocks at least two days per week, which may be the same or different days. They may set their own schedule outside of these expectations.
  • Type: Remote Self-Employed Contractor.
  • Workload: Workload varies by project. Many projects require an estimated 10–20 hours per week.

Senior Salesforce Systems Analyst

The Senior Salesforce Systems Analyst will provide system administration and business analysis support for Third Wave’s Salesforce CRM, which underpins internal operations. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing a suite of custom, in-house applications built on the Salesforce platform. In addition to day-to-day administration, the consultant will partner with stakeholders to enhance functionality, improve business processes, and extend system capabilities. The role operates under the guidance of a senior internal lead with deep institutional knowledge of the CRM and its evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce CRM instance, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and user support.
  • Manage user access, profiles, permissions, and environment configurations.
  • Monitor and support custom applications supporting core business functions, including:
    • Sales Orders
    • Customer Licensing and Subscriptions
    • Professional Services, including SOWs and Timesheets
    • Accounts Receivable, including Invoicing
    • Configuration Management, including epics, user stories, and system components
    • Project Issue Tracking
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Design, configure, and optimize solutions using Salesforce tools, including Flow Builder and declarative configuration.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Developers when Apex is required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, automation, and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of enhancements and fixes.
  • Document system changes, processes, and technical designs to ensure long-term maintainability.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience, including strong system administration expertise.
  • Proven experience supporting complex Salesforce orgs with custom applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Builder, declarative configuration, and Salesforce data modeling.
  • Experience acting in a business analyst capacity, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, including subscriptions and licensing.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Professional Services Automation (PSA), accounts receivable processes, or financial workflows in Salesforce.
  • Exposure to Agentforce and regular use of AI services to improve the quality and efficiency of work.
  • Experience supporting agile project management tooling (epics, user stories, test cases, etc)
  • Prior experience working within long-evolving, highly customized Salesforce orgs.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder.
  • Experience with Apex and the ability to read or debug code.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Channel Order App and License Management App.

Work Requirements

  • Availability: Work meetings may be scheduled between 9 AM and 5 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.
  • Type: Remote Self-Employed Contractor.
