We can generate PDF reports in most languages if you provide us with translations for your template text. Reports are developed in Visualforce and Apex and are customer maintainable. Our Released Report functionality allows for tracking report versions, approvals, changes, and delivery. For the most secure delivery, choose our Customer Portal functionality to allow your customers to log in to a secure portal and directly download reports.

We offer secure data migration for your legacy systems. You will need to provide your historical data in a normalized, clean CSV format. From there, we can either execute the upload for you or coach your internal IT team on how to perform the migration themselves.

The duration of TWA-lead implementations depends primarily on the scope of the project and how quickly your team can provide requirements and perform testing. Project timelines can vary from a couple of months to around a year. Shared implementation timeframes depend primarily on your team’s availability to implement the system.

Lockbox LIMS can seamlessly communicate with nearly anything that supports standard APIs. However, since many local lab instruments do not have native APIs, our standard approach is for your local IT team to use a script or middleware to push and pull data between the instrument’s local folder and a secure cloud folder (like AWS or Azure) that we can connect to via API. For highly regulated labs, we offer a formal Vendor Verification service. This begins with the creation of a Verification Plan that is signed by your leadership and ours. Upon signature, our Quality Team performs rigorous testing of the specific configurations and development we built for you and provides a detailed Verification Report, Verification Report Summary, and an Excel list of Test Cases and Test Steps. Lockbox LIMS is configured using easy-to-learn tools like Protocol Builder, Formulas, Lightning Pages, Flow, Apex, Visualforce, and LWCs. Our goal is to empower your team to own the system so that you can independently add new fields, protocols, workflows, and automations long after the initial implementation is finished. We have an extensive library of Lockbox LIMS Administrator Guides on our customer portal – the same guides that our internal teams use to configure the system. Salesforce also has extensive training and documentation materials that apply to Lockbox LIMS configuration and development. 

Your project will be staffed by a team based primarily in either the US or Europe, and generally available during regular business hours, either US Pacific Time or Central European Time. During the implementation, assistance is provided on a Time & Materials basis at the rates agreed upon in an SOW. After going live, break-fix support is provided as part of the subscription cost. Enhancements or changes to the system are charged at rates agreed upon in an SOW. Your project continues to be supported by the Third Wave Analytics team, often the exact same team members who did your implementation, ensuring maintained continuity.

Third Wave Analytics releases clinically verified releases every 9-12 months. These are installed upon request and never pushed. You can review our latest releases in our release notes. Salesforce, our hosting platform, releases updates three times a year. These are scheduled and released automatically. They can be tested in a sandbox for 4-5 weeks prior to release. 

Our implementation teams are staffed with fluent English speakers. We also have team members fluent in Deutsch, Español, Français, and Italiano. We can render PDF reports in most languages. Protocol Steps can be written in most languages. Lockbox supports all major currencies and conversion rates. Price Books and PDFs can display in all major currencies. Many UI components are translatable. Additionally, Lockbox LIMS is fully web-based, allowing for browser-based translation.

Over time, your lab processes may change, or you may want to implement a new feature or a brand new product. The same three implementation models are available throughout the life of your Lockbox LIMS implementation. We can update the system for you, your team can make the updates with our support, or we can implement a hybrid model.
